Story for Frosty 13 Test

I'm lucky, I just brought home my 8th bicycle.  This sounds very decadent but the fact is that I've worked in the bike retail trade for 12 years and the combined value of my stable wouldn't pay for a Dura Ace Di2 groupset.  I do own a carbon Merida Scultura which I've steadily upgraded into my personal 'dream' bike and an ageing Trek Madone '06 but the remainder of my bikes are made from good old aluminium.  They even have groupsets where the gear cables aren't hidden under the bartape!
The latest bike is a 13 Intrinsic Alpha.  13 was recently closed as a brand by Halfords after they chose to invest heavily in Boardman, which is a shame because the bikes carrying the 'unlucky for some' number were a bit special for the price tags they had.  I thought I'd missed the boat in acquiring one but got lucky when the Intrinsic was discovered atop a show car in the local Ford garage demonstrating roof bars & subsequently returned to my Halfords store.  Clearance price, colleague discount equaled offer not to be refused!
I'm not interested in doing a 'product review' here because I bought this bike for the aethestic, not the performance of it's frame or components.  For me, a humble non competitive, non challenge driven, non performance orientated leisure cyclist it's a super bike that rides nicely and looks awesome in my eyes.  I can't ask more of it than that.
A sub one hour test spin in 2C temperature this afternoon was enough to confirm that I am going to enjoy riding #8 as much as any of my other bikes.
