The first #rapha500 day of chrismas

On the first day of chrismas the weather was as bad as expected, but it was also the first day that #rapha500 started and i could not give up. 
Friends have asked us where was that deserted place in the background and all I could describe it with was some postapocaliptic waste. 
That's how it felt, but it's only half-truth. In reality that's where Malta Lake used to be in Poznań.
Every year it is drained to absolute minimum and all the trash and waste that shows up is being collected (or at least most of it). It was Perfect wasteful photo scenery, that is, before it started raining. 
Luckly my only friend that dared to torture herself with this survival ride was restless. She motivated us to push through the cold and wet conditions and even explore places that we didn't know about yet. 

Happy with our acomplishment we have split near Cytadela Park and rushed back home to warm up.
