Will the new #rapha500 chain hold?
The new-not-so-new chain that i mounted with a friend the day before might have 300 km ridden, but before it broke off, I knew there was something wrong about it.
We had to add two links to match its length and as i was later explained in a store, we did it wrong.
You cannot link the chain with its original old pins. You have to use special pins that are one use.
So instead of riding with @daria on a route by the lakes, I had to travel 2km back home, switch bikes and rush to a store for a new chain. Mounted it and tested as we were leaving to Ślęża the next day.
