T'was an evening in Nottingham.
Two days before a race.
The course was ready.
A tempo at taper pace.
Cresswell sped off early.

I chased him down with haste.
Morris hung on dearly.
Though not being laid to waste.
We were 5.28 Mileing.
The session was being raced!

Up next was intervals.
3-3-2-2-1-1.
It was time.

To get the session done.
But it wasn't easy. 
The warriors were at my back.

There was no chance.
For me to slack.
The recoveries got shorter.

Put me into oxygen debt.
This session wasn't over.

Quite just yet.
When I hit 4.25 miling.

I entered a new world of pain.

But I loved the session and would do it all over again.
