Story for BBQ Ride
Today is the tradtional post-ride steak bbq day. I'm a little apprehensive about the ride after getting dropped badly on the last club ride. However, the ride pace turns out to be quite relaxed, very relaxed by FOG standards. This migh have something to do with a lot of the big guns being busy with the 'cross races and saving themselves for the Sunday race or skipping today's ride entirely.
We rode the typical route with the exception of the last 5-10km where we deviated through some unfamiliar residential areas to avoid some construction on the standard route.
