Waddletown Loop
I have a regular route that I ride (when I ride regular). I have the feeling that every rider/runner has one. It's like a home field. It's where you practice and play around. Maybe even compete. And you likely have a special name for it. I call mine the Waddletown loop.
It's not a very originial or romantic name. It's derived from the name given to one of the four roads I ride, Waddletown. I have no idea why the road is called Waddletown, but it's the one that 911 services put on it.
This is my ride. I created it as a segment on Strava because an annuel ride takes place every year that uses the route. It's the beginner route for the Tour de Bland. It was the first organized ride I ever rode. And I was the first rider back to town. I was so proud (Looking back, I should have rode the intermediate route).
I owned the KOM on this segment. Owned it, I tell ya. That was until some Chad Johnson fella rolled into town to work for a week and sniped it from me. I'm bitter if you can't tell. He has become my nimissis.
I will, at some point take back my KOM. Waddletown Loop will be mine again.
