Story for Yodo River workout

Since the birth of my son and the opening of Globalwheels it has been getting harder to just jump on the bike and go for a ride, but today I found a bit of time to escape.

It's been about a month since the last ride so I wasn't expecting to get past the 50k mark.  Surprisingly, it felt quite comfortable to push on up to Oyamazaki. There was a light headwind as I headed up the river but this helped push me back to Osaka on the return journey.  The headwind on the Yodo River can really zap energy so it was nice that it wasn't the case today. 

It was refreshing just to switch off for a couple of hours and just pedal. I'm now motivated to ride again as soon as possible but finding the time ..well, that's another question.
