Story for At the beginning of 2016, I told myself I wasn't going to ride 10,000 miles this year. Apparently it's true....I don't even listen to myself. Blah!!! I don't like being sick. Happy Holidays everyone. :)

Cycling is a journey....better yet, a relationship with yourself.  Cycling can teach you to listen to your body, nurture your emotional self by giving you the space to sort through your problems and ignite, over and over, the spiritual spark the makes up your whole existence.  Riding your bike is a affirmation of being alive and embracing who you have been, who you arepresently, and who you are becoming.  Why is that? It's a simple answer really; Cycling gives you the space and freedom to believe.  You can push yourself beyond your limits, achieve unseeingly impossible goals that you never believed you could achieve, and create/forget unexpected friendships that can and do bind people together through carbon and steel.  Cycling is an art form of movement.  Never stagnant - can't be  - because even when you are off your bike, you are thinking about the next ride you are going to do.  Why? Because cycling pushes you to expand your perceived limitations and takes those perceived limitations and crushes them and validates for you that you are more than what you perceived yourself to be.  You realize you are part of the fabric of existence.
