One paw in front of the other Hilltop Back 40 Foray

Day by Day I am trying to find my living rhythm, both at work in an exciting and demanding new gig (which puts me back on a late night shift for the first time in several years) and in my physical/spiritual path.

Behind my new place there is green space, which has quite a few acres of prepped development land with tons of mostly flat (but bumpy and slightly hilly) lightly worn single track... There is a significantly large transient population in this region (which is a more soulfully painful issue for all) so you can't just assume while running with Murphy that he won't stumble on something like a tent or even an old campfire. But we aren't running at night here, obviously, and we are staying on the more trodden trails.

Clearly a mile and a quarter isnt enough, but with the creeks and rocks it's actually more challenging than it looks for me as a daily run, and a nice little sprint to get his yayas out for Murphy. We have another loop we can explore that might push it to 2 miles or more... once the soggy and high creek from rain runoff ebbs we will try that...
And when little Billy rejoins us he can handle this run, too.

For now it is all about one paw in front of the other!
