Story for New Years after #Festive500 Lunch MTB Ride in Totally Extreme Weather Conditions and poorly working Strava

This day was really special. The first day of 2017 year we decided to spend on Czech side of Karkonosze Mountains. We rode through Jakuszyce where we crossed the border to Harrachov by road. There we made a short break and took the cycloroute in Krkonose National Park towards Spindleruv Mlyn. This was the moment when the adventure began. That was the first time when I rode bicycle in mountains in snow. We began from up-hill, really steep and tough. But as it came clear later - that wasn't the most difficult part. The most difficult was down-hill on the snow and ice. We did't get to Spindleruv Mlyn. The road was really hard so we decided to go to Rokytnice nad Jizerou and from there come back though Harrachov and Jakuszyce to Szklarska Poręba. The views on the way was really unforgettable. We were crossing the border when it was dark already. When we come back we ate a delicious dinner in the restaurant. This was a perfect beginning of the new year!
