A cold warmup!

Jason and I are going to start training for what we are calling the "Stadium Run". Basically just a fun run at the beginning of the spring that will take us past the four major sports stadiums in Chicago. The total distance is roughly 23 miles. Anyways. To train for that it's not that different from any long race. Although we don't care about time, we do care about distance. I always like doing what I call a shake down run of 2-3 miles the day before a long run.

It was 15 with a feels like 3 when I went. I had good clothes so I felt fine temperature wise, but I have yet to feel comfortable since crawling out of the hole that was baseball followed by the election. I think the cold has a lot to do with it and hoping to get my mojo back this week.

"Long" run of 6-7 miles tomorrow.

We are pretty excited about it! The plan is to run from our house, down to the United Center, then more south to Sox Park (I don't even know what they are calling it anymore) and then over to the lakefront to run back North which takes us by Soldier Field and then at Addison we'll make a left and end at our beloved Wrigley Field!
