Story for Audax 200 with my 16" foldie

While some go bigger, some go smaller. :P

1st Audax 200 ride using my 16" wheel folding bike
Subic to Masinloc to Subic
210 kilometers in 10 hours and 44 minutes 
760 m of elevation

Out of 170 cyclists who joined the ride--almost all of whom were on full-sized road bikes--I finished among the Top 70. 
 
Not bad for a comeback ride after a major cycling injury kept me from long distance cycling for a year. I also havent fully recovered yet from another bad crash just a month ago where I sustained injuries including huge road rashes all over my body, deep cuts close to the eye that needed stiches, and a sprained wrist. 

In 2015 I completed an audax series (200km, 300km, 400km and 600km) using my ever dependable 20" folder. I thought it would be interesting to do an audax ride using a different bike--a smaller wheeled  folding bike. Haha! What can I say, I'm really, really fond of small wheels. Its amazing what one can do with small-wheeled folding bicycles, how far you can go with them!
