Story for A Walk in Boston
My daily commute involves riding the commuter rail to Yawkey Station, Boston, and then riding a Hubway bike to Harvard. However, in January and February the Hubway bikes are out not available. So an alternative is to walk from Yawkey to Mass. Ave, and get a bus to Harvard. Here is that walking route with a few pictures.
Starting out on my walk from Yawkey Station a look back at the purple commuter train fitting nicely through the infrastructure.
Morning sun shines on the buildings underneath the iconic Citgo sign in Kenmore Square.
The arrows in the bike lane point the way toward Cambridge along Mass. Ave., where I catch a bus.
