Story for The Final Epic Day - The Col de Galibier and Alpes D'Huez
After a tremendous week in the French Alps we finished things up with this epic ride. We began with the beautiful climb up the Galibier in sunshine and a comfortable temperature. A 40 K descent was the reward with Judi flying along in front. We made our way to Alpes D'Huez and began that climb in the baking sun. It was a monster after the previous climb but the beer tasted great at the top and was well deserved.
