Story for Vegas group ride w/Dave on the Elmo bike
I woke up focused on getting an interesting breakfast. I fulfilled this need by going to a gourmet donut shop called Donut Bar in Old Vegas.
I spent a chunk of the day being shuttled up and down the strip on the Deuce double decker bus. First, donut, second, InterBike bike convention, third, Jimmy Johns for a decent sandwich(It's no Jersey Mikes) and finally, back to the house after searching unsuccessfully for a Shepherd Fairey mural.
The convention was more impactful than last year because I was quizzing my favorite brands on questions I've always wondered such as how to turn off Garmin's virtual partner. I collected plenty of promotional material; even with a promise of discount from the owners... :)
The day ended with an amazing bike ride up the strip with about thirty other riders and a sound bike. Super fun!
