Because of the route from Drum to the finish in Inverness being about 20 miles, we split this into two sections - getting a taxi to Abriachan and then walking back to Drum followed by the final day starting at the same point but walking north to Inverness.\n\nSo, the taxi didn't totally go to plan as he dropped us off in a different place to that we'd asked for but that just meant a shorter day today. which seemed to have been around us pretty much the whole length of the walk. Even this stretch had some tricks for us - firstly a section where we had to walk around a home where the path went steeply uphill around their plot and then steeply down on the other side.\n\nThen when we rejoined the road itself the bigger trucks were throwing marbles and dust off the road into the faces of us walking along. Not nice.\n\nWe arrived back at the hotel in pretty good time really and actually walked down the road to the shop rather than lying down for the afternoon as we've often done."},"link":{"url":null}}]
